Project I : Japanese Hotel (2023)


  • Objective :
The objective of this project is to design a boutique hotel, “Japanese Realm,” in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, that immerses guests in an authentic Japanese experience. The hotel aims to bridge Japanese culture with the local context, offering a tranquil and luxurious environment through Japandi, Zen, and luxury design principles. The project focuses on integrating traditional Japanese architectural elements, interior aesthetics, and Zen-inspired landscaping to create a serene and culturally rich atmosphere for both locals and tourists.
  • Challenges Faced: 
    • Cultural Adaptation – Balancing traditional Japanese elements with the local Cambodian    context while maintaining authenticity.

A Day in My Life as an Interior Architecture Student

 Being an interior architecture student is both exciting and demanding. Every day is a blend of creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. Here’s a glimpse into a typical day in my life. Morning Routine My day usually starts early. I wake up around 6:30 AM, get ready, and have a light breakfast. If I have time, I check my emails and go through my schedule for the day. Since I often spend long hours at school, I make sure to pack all my essentials—laptop, sketchbook, measuring tools, and model-making materials. Morning Classes By 8:00 AM, I head to my university, Limkokwing University Technology. Most mornings begin with a lecture or a studio class.
